They are co-authors of the Ziggurat Model, winner of the 2008 Autism Society of America Literary Work of the Year, and they present on the Ziggurat model internationally.Dr. Aspy and Dr. Grossman will not only speak about ARD/IEP advocacy in a school setting, they will address how parents can psychologically and emotionally prepare themselves for the ARD process. It is important that participants know they have autism. Several ASCC Board Members, including some with autism, facilitate the group activities. Bring an object, book, picture or other item that represents their talents, gifts and interests.
