Guest guest
Thank you both for taking the time to answer. Right now I think I'm leaning toward adding the Cytomel to my Synthroid since I have been on that since Feb. That is " IF " the new doc will add it. Still won't see him till next Thurs. That way if things don't quite work out as well as I would like them to, I can switch over to Armour or something similar knowing that the Synthroid/Cytomel combo didn't work. The Synthroid has been working fine, I just think I need a larger dose and some T3 med added to it. > > > > > ** > > > > > > > > > I have an apt next week to go over labs with new doc. Guest guest
One important warning is that you really want name brand Cytomel rather than the generic, so if the doctor will write the Rx, make sure he/she writes BRAND NECESSARY or BRAND MEDICALLY NECESSARY on the Rx. I tried the generic and it did not work at all for me. It was not nearly as potent. You may have to pay more, but it is well worth it. B. Thank you both for taking the time to answer.
