I don't know if these are commonly available. So on to #2 2. " convince " the VCR to do the conversion to RF for you. It should be possible to connect the DVD to the VCR. Then " record " to a tape at slow speed, while monitoring this on the TV. I hadn't tried it, but that should work because the VCR normall puts out an RF signal. Of course if the DVD has an RF output, your problems are solved and you can daisy chain the two units together. - s

You must have a very slow connection, like a week slow. 5 days ago the RF modulator was mentioned and he said he was going to purchase one. #2 was where the problem started. The fact that the DVD has no RF output, that too was established about 6 days ago. In fact almost every one of your suggestions was covered 5 or 6 days ago. So on to #2 Hi, Not that it matters, but it isn't my TV. It belongs to Clay. Obviously such an adapter is available, at least at Radio Shack, since it was previously discussed ordering it on this list. > 2. " convince " the VCR to do the conversion to RF for you. The VCR tuner has to have a way of switching from it's RF input to any AUX input(s) that are on the chassis. On clays (former?) VCR, that would be accomplished by the user selecting the " AUX channel(s) " between channel 2 and whatever is the highest one. My VCR, also a slyvania model (but not the same model as Clay's) works the same way, but on most VCRs apparently, you switch input modes by pressing the INPUT button on the Remote. > Of course if the DVD has an RF output, your problems are solved > and you can daisy chain the two units together. > > - s
