Guest guest
So sorry I'm late in answering. Yes I live in Rocky Mount. It's about 2-3 hrs from me. Tina Earley babydoll0719@... New member Hi all. My name is Margaret and I am from South Jersey. I was diagnosed with Fibro in September 2003 but finally got pain relief for it in February. I'm doing well, very functioning because I have to be. I have been married 19 years, have a 14 year old daughter, Becky, a 4 year old son Jake and a son that will be 3 in September, Andy. I take percocet, Ambien and Celexa. It helps. I take two percs every 4-6 hours, before I get in too much pain. I take one Ambien at night and 2 Celexa (40 mgs total) at night. I was on that right after I had my last son but only 20mgs but when they diagnosed me, they boosted it for stress and anxiety relief. I don't know what else you all want to know about me. I am a quilter. Have been for about 3 years. I'm in the process of making a signature quilt for my nieces graduation party on 7/10. I just cut it out today. Pray that I get it done in time!! ) I have a good sense of humor which gets me through my life with these two boys I have! I was 40 when I had Andy so I wll be 43 in August and I don't know what is worse; a hormonal teenage daughter or the toddlers!!!! I love them all. they are great. My husband is a nurse so that is a help when it comes to meds and what's going on with me and what I can take and what i can't (I have a severe, deadly allergy to asprin!!). So, it's a big help to have him around. Just might keep him. I look forward to getting to know you all. I belong to one other group for fibro and a bunch of quilting groups so I check my email a few times a day. Oh, and I'm really curious about this medicine that is buried on the bottom shelf of WalMart?? What's up with that?? What is it?? Does it have asprin product in it or a warning about asprin allergy?? I'm interested Margaret, Mom to the monsters
Guest guest
> Oh Margaret....I got a magnifying mirror!!! Stupidest thing I ever did. I can see every whisker, every blemish, every sag.....etc. I well remember the day I was lecturing one of my piano students.....I talked long and seriously and finally at the end of my speechifying I said " Well, what do you think? " And she replied.... " You've got the longest hair growing out of your chin. " Oh, I just about died!!!!! Love, Cam Cam, That's just awful and forgive me, but I couldn't stop laughing after reading it. I remember once, I was 14 and was talking to my ex-boyfriend who I hadn't seen in about 8 mos. Toward the end of our conversation he said " Hey, do you know you have sideburns? " I was SOOOOO embarrassed - I didn't know - but shaved them off quick. a
Guest guest
Cam - honey it has spread from one bruise about the size of the bottom of a cup to the size of my hand (including my fingers) and across my back to where (gasp) my trigger points are on either side of my tailbone. And it is spreading down.... It's HUGE! And it hurts. Thank you for caring for me. Some days it feels like there are so few people who understand and can empathize. And it HATE IT when my family just makes me feel like I'm being a whiney-butt (no Pun intended). They don't think there is anything wrong with me - I'm just being lazy. But you would be proud of me. I wrote this long email to my doctor, therapist and psycho-man and told them exactly how I was feeling and how I felt about everything. We'll see how psycho-man does tomorrow. I have an appointment. And my doctor and therapist get back from vacation tomorrow. Nothing like dancing in the manure, huh. Aren't you proud of me? Lynn Lynn Dear Blue Butt....please take care of yourself. I hate it when you are hurting so much. Love, Cam
Guest guest
oh, honey, it sounds like everything is falling apart around you. hope you are doing ok and not stressing too much about it. not only is the earth round but there is this thing called gravity that if you try to jump just crumples you back to the ground. hang in there. love, lynn Good morning Hi all. How are you all doing this morning? Good I hope. I think I OD'd this morning! I didn't think I took my percocet and so I took them again (It would have been a time period of about 10 minutes!) all the sudden I felt better, and it usually takes about 10-15 minutes for my percs to kick in, which means I DID take it about 10minutes earlier. Oh well,it's been nice knowing you all! haha. I'll be fine, seriously. I've done it before. ANy tricks that you guys use to remember that you've taken your meds and when you need to take them again??? I guess I should get one of those pill dispensers but I would forget to fill it! haha. I only know of the dispensers that give you one space a day. I need one that has about 5 spaces a day. whatever. I'll live. I have to mark a quilt today so I have something to take with me when we go to the shore for our vacation next saturday. I plan on taking it with me while the boys swim in the ocean with my dh. It may be hot on my lap but I enjoy hand quilting so much. I think it will be alright. I hope we have better weather for our vacation week than we had this week. It was raining or cold every day this week. Well, gonna run. Have to unload the dishwasher. I have been keeping my kitchen spotless this week; having an empty dishwasher in the morning, cleaning my sink till it shines, wiping up anything that spills, clearing off the table and making sure it stays that way; etc. Well, yesterday the dishwasher didnt' get emptied so there are dishes on the table and in the sink. ugh. It's funny how quickly you can get into a habit; good or bad one! Have a good day all. Will chat later.
