Guest guest
I want to try the synthetics to see how I do on them. At some time in the future, porcine thyroid may no longer be available. When Armour went out of production, Dr. Berg, my primary care doc was unwilling to write for any synthetic T3. For now, I have Dr. Spurlock as my thyroid and hormone doc, who will write for any thyroid med. The time may come again, when I am dependent on Dr. Berg to write my thyroid scripts. If the two scenarios should collide, I want to be able to tell Dr. Berg that I have been on this protocol before, so he should be willing to write my script. I cannot use name brand synthetics, but I can tell you that the compounds from WIP are cheaper. I paid just about $100 for a factory sealed bottle of Cytomel 5 mcg #100 at Tom Thumb and $54.25 for 100 of the 5 mcg of the compounded liothyronine from WIP. The compounded porcine thyroid was $66 for 150 of the 60 mg capsules. >> Are you really switching to T4 and T3 synthetics with olive oil in gelatin capsules, as you stated in previous post? Why are you giving up natural desiccated thyroid, if I may ask? You were such a proponent. > > Now i hear Hashi's shouldn't take NDT, but doc can't find any antibodies today when tested, but I don't know what antibodies he tested for. > > ?? What's going on? I can't take cellulose, which lets out NT WT Armour. i use compounded with thyroid powder, rice powder, hypoallergenic clear capsule, really expensive for me.> > Are name brand Synthetics less expensive? I hear they cost more?> > Any help appreciated. Vicki K K5VLK>
