Guest guest
This has been a problem for me since the Armour reformulation. I'm at my wits end. I have it now as I type this. It seems to get worse and then better these are my latest labs... reverse t3 238 (90-350) free t3 3.5 (2.3-4.2) free t4 .95 (73- 1.95) The feeling of disconnection is the worse, I might as well be drunk, I can't speak well or form thoughts. Its very depressing, I don't know what to do. Yvette
Guest guest
Your Free T4 is fairly low in the range. I had terrible brain fog until I got my Free T4 above mid-range. It may well be that you aren't absorbing the new Armour as well as you did the old. You might ask your doctor about an increase in dosage, in particular since your free T3 is only around 60% in range - i.e., you seem to have a little wiggle room there too. Good luck. B. Guest guest
Your Free T4 is quite low in its range. Most of us need to have both of our Free Ts in the upper half of their ranges to feel well. You might need a larger dose of Armour if you can tolerate a higher T3 level. Otherwise, I would ask your doc to add 25-50 mcg of levothyroxine to your current dose of Armour. >> This has been a problem for me since the Armour reformulation. I'm at my wits end. Guest guest
Thank you for the replies as they confirm what I believe too. I'm going to call and beg for some T4!
