Mo, The same thing happened to our youngest DD; she was holding the dog and he went after a squirrel; but it broke her collar bone. Don't just get the shoulder checked out; rule out a broken collar bone. She was in considerable pain. I may be off base here, but I wanted to make sure all the bases were covered with this.
