Hi Sandy - I have a colleague at work who has this condition. His is related to his arthritis. It comes and goes in flares, so he only has the pain occasionally; so I hope you have the same situation and get total relief at least part of the time. Anti-inflammatories help him with the symptoms during a flare-up. He never had any surgeries, he just has chronic osteo-arthritis and tendonitis problems, and his eyes are one of the places that it shows up worst for him. I'm sorry that you're experiencing this. I know from my friend that it is terribly painful. Cheryl in AZ

Guest guest
Hi Joan No contacts but I do wear glasses. The doc said it is caused by arthritis in my body, but I am not coming up with any info on it. Now I have severe back problems from the two surgeries not working, but I don't feel like I have arthritis. Thanks for your reply!! Guest guest
One thing that was a total nightmare for me was,an ophthalmologist had this brilliant' idea of putting 'plugs' in my lower tear ducts. This was totally not a good idea. First of all,she could not get then plugs in. Told me that my tear ducts are much smaller than normal but crammed two plugs in.She told me to try it,it I liked it to let her know. OH MY GOD! I had scraping on my eye for over the next 24 hours! I could not find a Dr. to remove them for that long! I found out that since my tear ducts were smaller than normal, they never were put in ALL the way and they scratched on my eye for 24 hours.(luckily no damage that I know of) Never again will anything so stupid like that ever happen. Guest guest
Another " dr. horror story " ! I'm telling you folks, don't trust these guys. Always THINK about what they about to do to you ... 'cause many of them DON'T know what they're doing! BTW ... Anyone know anything about T-7-8- injuries? s. > > One thing that was a total nightmare for me was,an ophthalmologist had this > brilliant' idea of putting 'plugs'
