Guest guest
Free stuff. LOL!!! Hey, maybe we can all get makeovers too!! But we'd just be crying and hugging, that's about all! Kerri maybe I'm joking... ...maybe I'm not. So...who's going to call Oprah and tell her about our amazing list? Why? To feed my ego? Nope. -it's one way for many of us to get together without having to spend much money, since the shows pay for the lodgings -I think we have something special going on here, and after seeing the recent SJU fiasco, I really truly believe that we have an imortant message to give about suspending judgement and accepting and supporting people, regardless of any societal prejudices, supporting people with whose choices we would not personally make (ie: ABA vs other modes of therapy, vaccinating vs not vaccinating, allowing stimming vs banning stimming, etc), and encouraging them and wishing them success and cheering their victories even while we do the opposite things. I don't think the world has enough of that. -bringing to light the truths behind some of the myths of autism, of course -FREE STUFF!!!!!!! Anyway, it's midnight, and I'll probably wish I didn't write this in the morning....... Jacquie -who would look like crap on TV anyway mom to , 5 Parenting Autism moderator " Am I the only one who allows his mind to prance outside the box? Guest guest
I don't think much shocks old mom anymore...lol. I think piercing the nipples around age 18 kind of broke down her resistance...hahaha. I dunno, I don't really trust that creepy Dr. Phil guy around pierced men...I wouldn't be surprised to find that he's got a pocket full of metal himself...lmfao. Guest guest
I am missing so many messages, and the ones I do get are out of order. This really bothers me!!!! I still do not have Jacquie's original message, but I just read it because it's attached below. Good idea, Jacquie - - but you suggested it - YOU CALL OPRAH~!~ ;o) I would love to see Oprah do a show on autism in itself. Many times, I have considered writing her a real letter...... to show her my life, to make her SEE. I never did get around to it though. Something tells me she just wouldn't get it. Grace maybe I'm joking... > > > > > > ...maybe I'm not. > > > > So...who's going to call Oprah and tell her about our amazing > list? > > > > Why? To feed my ego? He would drive her mad. We cannot be driven mad by our ASD kids of course as we have already gone mad long ago. Like Alice in Wonderland, we're all mad here. And if not in the sense of crazy then, well, we are ANGRY! Salli
