Guest guest
Hi all, I'm re-reading 's new book 'A Thousand Names for Joy', which is called ''s Tao' in The Netherlands. But this time I also bought 's 'Tao Te Ching - an illustrated journey'. Each of the 81 chapter's in 's new book corresponds with the 81 chapters in 's book. So first I read for example chapter 5 from 's book and then I read the corresponding chapter 5 in 's book. This way I get a deeper understanding of both the Tao and 's book and it's fun to do. This way you can also see that phrases (his translation of the Tao) more than is apparent if you only read 's chapter. Also the illustrations are beautiful (in 's book). I know advising is 'not done' in The Work, but this time I would like to recommend 's Tao Te Ching. It gives me even more pleasure in reading 's new book! Love, . > > > > I'm confused, is this a new book? > > > > Is it different from her LOVING WHAT IS, and I NEED YOUR LOVE, IS > THAT > > TRUE? > > > > I might change my name to Joy Brigade' (brig-gah-day) > > > yes it is a new book that is going to be released in 2007. from what > i understand it was written as a kind of 'kt' take on the tao te > ching, which her husband michael stephen has translated. i remeber > reading somewhere that she said michael would read a chapter from the > tao and she commented on it and gave her perspective. i've preordered > it from amazon and am looking fwd to it. there have been several > excerpts from thenew book in kt's blog. >
Guest guest
I have an unillustrated Tao Te Ching book. Can I mail it to him and he'll send me the updated version? Life of p.s. advises in here most of the time, so don't worry about advising in here. That's my advice anyway. > > Hi all, > > > I'm re-reading 's new book 'A Thousand Names for Joy', which is > called ''s Tao' in The Netherlands.
