Guest guest
My little guy is 15 months old now. My thyroid is testing better than it has ever tested! I stopped my caffeine intake shortly after Thanksgiving. So about 8 weeks now of being completely caffeine free. Instead of feeling better.. I swear I feel worse every single day. I had tested low on a 24 hour saliva cortisol test 2 years about - about 4-6 weeks before getting pregnant. Obviously my adrenals went untreated at that time. I'm sure the symptoms I am now feeling are those adrenals again. Just wondering if anyone knows what treatments might be compatible with breastfeeding. Is Doctor Spurlock the go-to doc for Adrenals? (I've been seeing Dr. Gustmann for 2 years now with thyroid and she's been great. Even gave me a 30 mg increase even when my most recent Free T4 labs were 1.4 (.82-1.77) She has been reading a lot of thyroid books. She told me she has been reading a lot of books on thyroid. She said she is enjoying reading from the patient side of things. She said she's been studying adrenals, but we didn't go deeper into that. So I'm not sure of her treatment of adrenals - whatever level she treats adrenals at right now, I know she wouldn't feel comfortable treating me while I'm still nursing). Thank you in advance for information.
