Yesterday, I saw her for the first time as I was surfing the channels. Figured she was just one of the leads in yet another poorly staged infomercial. With each passing moment, though, I realized she was actually relaying good, sound dietary advice! Then the term " registerd dietitian " flew around somewhere in the conversation between her and another girl on the program (they talk quickly!). It was SO nice seeing one of " our own " giving such great nutrition advice. Yesterday, they made over a standard pancake recipe, using whole wheat pastry flour, wheat germ, flaxseed, etc., and topped it with warm blueberry " syrup. " Scrumptious!
