I noticed I was still tired a little better but struggling still so I amped up to 37.5 per consulting with Dr. again. I am now on 50mcg of cyto. My question is based on intuition of body I need to go way up. I want to go up significantly. as I was also informed by some members that this is just too low. I AGREE. Is there such a thing as dosing up too fast when thy is so low?? Has anyone done this?? I am thinking of adding 30 mcg. Feeling really bad. I have no heart palps or anything as I've been dosing up. I know this is not medical advice just needing personal experience please. waiting for the new labwrk on rev t3 really needing that but there is a back order on rt3 per quest lab. geez its been 2 weeks. >

Guest guest
I have made T3 changes about 4 days apart and have done well. T4 has a slower response going up or down, and T3 is considered very fast, which is why one has to dose 3-4x/day if not doing time released. Were you taking any thyroid product before this? I have never done the T3 only protocol myself, so I cannot comment on it. I am taking both synthroid and cytomel, and so far have not tolerated dessicated thyroid well. How long are you expected to remain on a T3 only?
