I just checked... even aspirin... not recommended to those with kidney damage. Looks like I'm stuck with ice packs and TENS machine. I'm heading off to bed right now with my ice pack. Everyone is different, but tylenol does nothing for inflamation. I can take a naproxin and it helps for days. Guest guest Posted July 10, 2004 Report Share Posted July 10, 2004 Yup... taking it already. Have been on glucosamine with the Chonriton (sp ???) with MSM for quite a few years now. Sheesh.. I even give a table to the dog every morning as well. Goldens are known for hip displasia (sp??) and it's a good preventative for dogs as well. I'm trying to prevent as much future pain for my golden bear as possible. I just don't think there's going to be anything else that I can take for this. I'll just have to ride out the flare with ice packs, codeine, and TENS machine. I find lots of sleep during an Osteoarthritis flare helps me a lot.
