Guest guest
it's nice to read you again, laurie. i enjoy the energy that comes along with you. (or my story about it, as some workers would say ; - ))) ) > mmmmm - everything here is real- i don't THINK so! nothing unreal exists -exactly....so nothing here can be threatened and THERE IN lies the piece of god- ( i like that) and my peace in god. none of this is real- there fore is the war our projection, and the " things " - which we think are real- just our thoughts about them that frighten us when we forget who we are and come from fear instead of love, love? lovingly laurie of course god it everything. what else is there? love rose

Personally I'd rather call it the " Allness " or something like that. AND i have heard katie say god is everything Every post on God is written by a fragment of God and read by a fragment of God. And if the post is disagreed with, God is just disagreeing with a fragment of God. And God finds that funny. hahahahahaha a fragment of hahahaha
Guest guest
In your example of " a computer " , God would be more like the Operating System, running in the background, making everything else possible. Your example of " a computer " is, for me, a great way to think of how The Mind works. Without some form of " input " , a computer simply sits there and does nothing. If you want an experience or " output " , you need " input " . And of course life is kind of like a computer in that " Garbage In = Garbage Out " . Guest guest
Dear Evie, You said: " " Are as one " - does anyone really know the meaning of that? " For me, it makes more sense to say: " Are as one " - does anyone really NOT know the meaning of that? " It is my belief that we all have the Memory of the Oneness deep within us; and for me, it has nothing whatsoever to do with " molecules or atoms? " or any form at all. Guest guest
Evie, After you finish pondering this, let me know what story you get? Steve D. > > > Dear Evie, > > > > You said: " " Are as one " - does anyone really know > > the meaning > > of that? Guest guest
Excellent! I like what you came up with. It gives me cause to consider re-wording my origninal statement; which was: " It is my belief that we all have the Memory of the Oneness deep within us. " Perhaps if I remove the word Memory and replace it with something like " Awareness " it would come closer to the meaning that I am attempting to convey. Something like this: " It is my belief that we all have within us that which can become aware of the Oneness/Formless. " Evie, thank you for helping me realize that the word Memory indicates " a past " and that indicates time and that simply places another veil between Me and Myself or Self-Realization. And I know that this is simply another story. Steve D. > > > > > > > Dear Evie, > > > > > > > > You said: " " Are as one " - does anyone really > > know > > > > the meaning > > > > of that? Guest guest
Evie, I see what you mean and you are right but this exercise has become boring for me. All this reminded me of one of my favorite quotes. It goes like this: " Friend: Everything I know can be summarized in this one sentence: 'God alone is the doer'. : " Well, Leave out 'the doer', it's more true. Leave out 'alone' it's more true. Leave out 'God', its more true. Leave out 'is', and you really have the truth ... " Blessings, Steve D. > > > Excellent!
