Guest guest
I've taken steroids a few times. I have ulcerative colitis, and I was in a severe flare when I was first diagnosed, so I was on steroids for about 4 months then. High dose, then tapered down. And I've done a couple of short courses of lower doses. I can tolerate them fairly well, aside from the never-ending hunger and insomnia, but I much prefer to stay away from them.
