Guest guest
Hi Ruth...I have read all the Seth books and also the Conversations with God books. I liked them all very much. I thought Jane was a bit hard to get in to, but I stuck with it. The Nature of Personal Reality' was my first one too. Hugs, Cam Re: Reading Hi ! I also read " new age " books. Have you ever read the Seth books? Seth is the personality entity channeled through Jane . I have found so much wonder logic in his philosophy! I went through 12 years of Catholic school confused about what it was all about. It didn't fit my so-called logical mind (Gee I sound like Spock!). Anyway, a friend turned me on to Seth. I love his stuff. " The Nature of Personal Reality " was my first book and I just felt myself constantly nodding in agreement as I found so much sense and logic in his philosophies. You DO Create your Own Reality. I've also been reading " Conversations with God " series of books by Neale Walsh. Great reading and pretty much goes hand in hand with Seth's teachings. ) ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Earth is my home and animals are my family. I notice a lot of posts on books in here and i wanted to share some (if I'm lucky enough to remember more than one!) favourite authors. I don't like reading serious books, or classical literature. That's because I have a poor memory. I always feel that I have to be learning something! My favourite humor author is the British fellow by name of Geoff Nicholson. He's written several darkly funny novels: Street Sleeper, Still Life with Volkswagens, Everything and More, Flesh Guitar, Footsucker, Bedlam Burning. Another funny one I like is The Fan Man, by Kotzwinkle. I also like to read spiritual/ " new age " books. I have found more self help through my spirituality than ten years of cognitive behavioural therapy! Well take care everyone. 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone.
