Guest guest
I've never tried this treatment for FMS. I have used it to loosen crud in my lungs. http://www.guaidoc.com/GuaiProtocol.htm I have that book From Fatiqued To Fantastic. Unfortunately for me, I can't take a lot of drugs that this particular doc has recommended for both CFIDS and FMS. I used Homeopathy to address my pain. Recently, I reactivated an old trigger that I got from my involvement in sports. I used Arnica Montana 30c, and then Cimicifuga 30c (homeopathic Black Cohosh)to address this pain. Then I used homeopathic arnica montana gel to rub on the soreness. Worked very well, and I was not turned into a zombi. I have that damn Flexeril junk, but it dopes me up pretty good. I don't even like Ultram for the disruption it causes in my life. Dillion > Hi, > > I saw my doctor yesterday and he recommended the book, " What Your > Doctor May NOT Tell You About Fibromyalgia. Guest guest
I take Guaifensin, and have for a few years now. What I was told, by an IRL support group, was that basically Guai " ungunks " your cells. Since it's basically an expectorant, it's not harmful. I wasn't really sure it was doing anything until I ran out. Usually I can only get it at my pharmacy, and only then if I'm going in to get an RX refill. I had run out and didn't have any refills scheduled for awhile so I figured I could do without it for awhile. Hardly, after about a week, I noticed I woke up with " pins and needles " feeling in my arms and across my chest (dr. says my heart is fine), but after getting up and moving around, it lessens. I finally got some more guai and have been back on it for the last 2 days. First day after taking it again was first day in 3 weeks I hadn't woken up with the " tingles " , and my vision stopped being " cloudy " upon waking up also. I also drink Noni Juice, and have noticed my energy level has improved as well. > Hi, > > I saw my doctor yesterday and he recommended the book, " What Your > Doctor May NOT Tell You About Fibromyalgia. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
The problem that I have been reading about Guai is that you cant have any aspirin or any sacylite (sp) products in or on your system. I was going to try Guai but a website that I went to really scared me about taking it. Anyone thinking about taking it should check out fibromyalgiatreatment.com first. Its a very informative website, & I guess that if you take Guai & aspirin products together you can do alot of damage to your body.
