EPIC Center for Dance

Free 45 minute Introductory Class

DanceAbilities’ Intro session is offered to children

with special needs, ages 5 to young adult.

We welcome children using a wheelchair for mobility!

Date: Saturday-February 11th 2012

Time # 1: 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm (please arrive by 1:15 pm)

A second class will be scheduled from 2:30 – 3:15 pm if needed

“DanceAbilities†offers children with “disabilities†an opportunity to learn to dance; to increase their body awareness; to improve their coordination and motor skills; to increase their social interactions; and to express their emotions and individuality through movement! Our regularly scheduled DanceAbilities class meets Saturdays from 11:45 am to 12:30 pm. Enrollment is still open!

RSVP REQUIRED!

NOTE:

Parents must stay with their child and provide all behavioral/toileting supervision. The child should be able to “follow the leader†or follow simple directions and not be aggressive towards others. Participants should wear loose/comfy/stretchy clothing, tennis shoes and socks!
