Guest guest
are you more prone to bronchitis and pneumonia??? I have been suffering for the past several years with bad cases of bronchitis, pneumonia, sinus infections, ear infections and most recently a cold, that turned into bronchitis that turned into antibiotic resistant pneumonia. After 6 days on meds for bronchitis I was coughing so bad I was gagging and had bladder " issues " at the same time.. I went back to the doc, he did an x-ray and said it was pneumonia and gave me levaquin, after 5 days on that it was even worse so another x-ray and the pneumonia was worse, he sent me straight to the ER who admitted me but couldn't figure out what was up. I was able to get an appt with a Pulmonary specialist the following week and he did various scans, multiple blood tests and a broncoscopy. My airways were VERY inflamed and I ended up on Prednisone for 22 days(which I finished last night thank goodness!! it was hell in itself!) I had a follow up with the doc a week after the broncoscopy and he's telling me he thinks I have asthma...does any of this fit with asthma?? They did some allergy testing through blood work and I'm allergic to various animals, trees, grass etc..but I'm not around those things at this point and I just don't get it?!!
