Guest guest
Hey guys, Just thought i would say Hi and let you know how I am doing. First and most of all, I am BORED, BORED, BORED!! I a have been doing good at keeping off my foot, I just hate sitting here and doing nothing just when there is so much that needs done around here. has been absolutely wonderful and understanding that I just cant jump up and do things for him when he wants. This has been great for his independence. For example, before I always had to go get him his clothes and practically put them all on for him. Well, he has been getting out his own outfits and getting himself dressed with minimal fussing. This morning however, he did not want to go to school and was trying to negotiate staying home by saying he needed to take care of me. It was a a very sweet thing for him to say, I know, however he did go to school. Mike picked up at school yesterday and then they went to Rose's (a K-mart type place) and they got me this great pig bean bag chair to put my foot on so I dont always have to have my foot sticking straight out on the couch. it was only 10 bucks, not a bad deal, and when my foot heals can have it to use. Oh, and 's teacher e-mailed to tell me that he got a student of the week award this week when he went to guidance. He NEVER gets these kinds of awards. I am so proud of him!! Jacquie, you were posting about all the amazing things that happened when broke his arm, and the improvements he was having, I guess in my case it took Me breaking MY ankle to have such an amazing week with ....LOL....go figure. Anyone that has fun or neat mindless timekilling games that they enjoy on the net feel free to send the links to me privately--getting sick ogf the bingo already. in SC Mom to ,

When I got enough better I would scoot around the house on my fanny so I could clean up the floor and fold clothes and stuff. For now though, if your dh brought it to you you could fold, sort socks, or ick!, do paperwork. How about going through the sales and coupons and putting a shopping list together and a menu for the week? Also boring, but stuff you can do sitting down. Do you like to crochet? or handwork? We like puzzles here. We do them on the table and then put a sheet of vinyl over it for a tablecloth. There's always movies and books. That was really the last time I've read much but I did enjoy reading. If you are on the computer you can always see if I'm on and IM me. I use AIM: EGCJsmom and yahoo IM: egcjssmom. > > has been absolutely wonderful and understanding that I just cant jump > up and do things for him when he wants. What a sweetie. > > Mike picked up at school yesterday and then they went to Rose's (a > K-mart type place) and they got me this great pig bean bag chair to put my > foot on so I dont always have to have my foot sticking straight out on the > couch. it was only 10 bucks, not a bad deal, and when my foot heals > can have it to use. Great plan. I just used all the pillows from the bed. The beanbag would have been a fantastic idea. > > Oh, and 's teacher e-mailed to tell me that he got a student of the > week award this week when he went to guidance. Guest guest
Hey - welcome back, ! You sound like you are doing well, boredom aside. ly, I'd give up a good sum of money to be so bored LOL. That is not to say I am never bored cause sometimes, I am. Sheesh, sometimes, I get bored even when I'm busy, go figure. But to be completely bored all day long would be nice LOL!!! So.... I take it that if I break my leg, my children will learn to help themselves. If I break all limbs on my body - - then my children might speak... or heck, if I break my spine too - then i might cure autism!!! WOO HOO!! ) I'm glad to hear that is doing so well though. As for games... I like some games on MSN. There is Double Trouble, which is fun - and then there is Bejeweled, which is addictive and also fun. You could also go and play Who Wants to be a Millionaire online LOL - and the Weakest Link. There's plenty to do online! Get to it!! When does your leg complete the healing process? Having a little break IS nice, and I have to giggle to myself just a little while dh does all the dishes and laundry and stuff like that he does not appreciate the work it takes to keep up on it.
