Guest guest
I've been trying to read more and more about asthma, trying my best to find some sort of remedy for myself. Anyway, I was just reading and came across this paragraph and the last sentence which I highlighted says its harder when trying to "exhale". I have a hard time "breathing IN air" everything I read says its the exhalations that asthmactics struggle with NOT ME! am I just weird or what LOL.... I can't get enough air in my lungs. When I'm in the mist of an attack, I'm fighting to get air. its as if I can only get a drop of air in (the best way I can describe what I experiencing is imagine your just taking a sip of water or a drink) that's what I feel like I'm only getting small little sips of air . I don't understand why alot of what I read says its difficult on the exhaling? Oh and sorry for the above type setting. Don't know why it did that. Oh well thanks for letting me ramble. Just tired of struggling as I'm sure you all can relate. Thanks What Causes Asthma? Asthma is caused by chronic (ongoing, long-term) inflammation of these airways passages. Individuals with asthma are highly sensitive to various "triggers" that lead to inflammation of the airways. When the inflammation is triggered by one or more of these factors, the air passages swell and fill with mucus. The muscles within the breathing passages contract and narrow (bronchospasm). The narrow airways make it hard to exhale (breathe out from the lungs).
