Guest guest
Please please please do not give this kind of advice. This could so easily kill someone. If you have abdominal spasms that keep you from taking oral medicine have your doctor prescribe phenergan, tigan or compazine suppositories. It terrifies me when this kind of advice goes around the internet. Worried and concerned Kaylene >I also after a patch is used if I am having a lot of trouble with pain, cut >it open and use a sppon to scrape up the small amount left and let it >dissolve under my tongue. Guest guest
THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! This so easily could kill someone or at the least OD and end up in Emergency. I would hate for ANYONE to be responsible for that by spreading such a dangerous idea. Blessings, Lori Kaylene Goyette wrote: Please please please do not give this kind of advice. Guest guest
AGREED! It sez right on the package intructions NOT to open the patch and to makes sure you wash right after handling it. It also states it needs to be disposed of in a proper manner so that it doesnt leak open nor come in contact with others. dj Kaylene Goyette wrote: > Please please please do not give this kind of advice. Guest guest
Hello everyone, I just needed to reaffirm what a few of the wiser members have said about these patches. Please DO NOT open them, it really can be fatal. I really honestly do understand your pain and all the breakthrough pain, and so does most everyone in this group, we all suffer. That is what we are here for... to help each other with questions or comments about these kind of issues. I do not think, for the few of you that are doing this, that this should be an acceptable way of medicating yourself. I really have to agree with Lori and Kaylene when they said that it shouldn't be recommended in this group, but it should be discussed with your doctors. Maybe they will increase your meds or give you something else. The people that belong to this group are all very caring individuals and we are not judging you guys that are doing this but we are telling you from our hearts that we don't want you to do it any longer because we know how fatal it could be. So is it really worth taking that risk? We don't think so. Please discuss it with your doctors before doing it any longer. We care so much, that is why we speak up about it. Please take care of yourselves and I am sending super big huggs around to everyone of you, Sandy
