Durango Canyon Apartments and Olen Properties, whose corporate

offices are located in Newport Beach, California, are being named in

a toxic mold litigation action.

They have consistently refused to remediate and or replace the prior

tenant's contents in their property commonly referred to as Durango

Canyon North. This apartment has been determined to be highly

contaminated with extreme levels of Stachybotry and other toxic

molds. This is in conjunction with mold related injuries sustained

by the tenant who occupied the apartment.

Olen Properties are claiming that there are no other reports of

mold, but, there were water intrusion remediation's done by their

unlicensed and untrained maintenance personnel on at least one other

apartment on this property.

Olen Properties were given a sufficient amount of time to resolve

the situation and failed to make any reasonable solutions to this

ongoing problem. Which has now necessitated commencement of

litigation.

Residents from their other Las Vegas Properties are being asked to

request mold testing if they notice any damp, musty, putrid smells

in their apartments after any water damage, or after water damage in

a neighboring or adjoining apartment.

If tenants are using air fresheners because their units smell funny,

then they need to find the source of the odor they are trying to

cover up.

Inhalation of mold and or mold spores has medical ramifications that

need to be addressed immediately to mitigate any further medical

exacerbations.
