Hi Everyone

I got this off another list serve and thought I would pass it along. If your

child does have Celiac Disease and you choose to contact Joan, please be sure to

mention that your child has mosaic Down syndrome and not Down syndrome. It would

be very beneficial for others to know that people with MDS can have the same

issues as one with Ds and the only way this will happen is if we get this type

of recognition.

Kristy

Dear Listmates,

First of all, I hope you are all having a great week with your kids! It's

always nice to have some quality time, I think.

I am currently working on an article about celiac disease and people with

Down syndrome. If anyone has a child with Down syndrome who also has

celiac disease, and would like to share stories or tips you found especially

helpful, please email me at:

joan@...

Some of these stories will also be considered for revisions of " The Down

Syndrome Nutrition Handbook. "

Thanks so much!
