Guest guest
I have read of doctors who treat with both dessicated and synthetic to get the patient within a range they feel good. I hope this works well for you. Dessicated does have a higher T3 ratio than our own production, and I understand that for some people this has to be worked around. If you try it, you’ll know within a short time if it’s helpful or not.
Guest guest
I was on a combination of dessicated thyroid plus a little levothyroxine for the last ten years. I also tried a lower dose of dessicated plus synthetic T3, but that did not work for me. I have only recently gone to a slightly higher dose of straight dessicated. Just for the record, I find no difference between ERFA and the compounded thyroid in oil capsules. I liked the synthetic T3 and T4 in oil capsules better than Lannett levothyroxine and Cytomel. >> I have read of doctors who treat with both dessicated and synthetic to get> the patient within a range they feel good.
