Hey All,

Sorry to make this a mass message, but didn't want to have to type this a bunch of times, so this is how it had to be for the moment...

I am actually home now, but have to go pay my lot rent which is late because I was hospitalized the day it was due so now I have to come up with $854 instead of the $427 I have. Going to do some begging with my hospital discharge papers to prove that I was in the hospital to see what the park owner says.. I did go get all of Terry's unemployment money from the bank in case they say "too bad so sad". But then we will be broke again until next Wednesday when we would get his last unemployment check and my truck payment won't get paid on time either.... Frustration.

Then I have to head over to the outlaws house to see how Montanna and Terry are doing, to see if I have to take Terry over to the U of M hospital because of his sickness... We don't have insurance for Terry and Montanna so when Terry gets sick, he has to go to the ER because of his heart stuff. And his parents are real good about taking him to the doctor especially the ER. Thankfully the Children's Clinic will see Montanna without any problems even without insurance.

I wish there was a way to put them on my insurance but since mine is completely through SS and Medicare it isn't an option. Terry did start the paperwork and interview to apply for SSI (supplemental security income... I think that's what the letters mean). He had it as a child because of his heart and hearing, and that way I am pretty sure that both of them would then be covered by medicare or whatever or eligible for MA for medical and dental... At least I hope.

Blood sugars have been really good today, had my last dose of IV steroids last night just before my IV blew, so that is helping the whole blood sugar numbers but I do have to continue my taper down still with oral steroids. I think my body is so used to the steroids now that when I don't have them for a few hours I drop to hypo numbers. I kind of felt bad about stopping at Starbucks on my way home for a treat, but then did my blood sugar and it was 80, so that made me feel better because hopefully the hot chocolate helped bring it up to normal. I start feeling hypo at up to 120 at times, the diabetic nurse educator says it is because I have lived with such high blood sugars these last couple months that this is considered okay, and to treat like I would if it was 70 or lower.

Well better get going to the park office, then to check on the family at the outlaws house. Then I am hoping to come home and take a real nap in my own bed, with my own pillows and such.

Chat soon!

I'm with you, , that shouldn't be legal.  It certainly sounds unethical and immoral to me.

Enjoy your Starbucks treat, Anne, your nurses are right.  Freaking out your body with an 80, or even a 120, when you've been living at high numbers for a long time, isn't any fun at all.

Actually I have to pay both the past due month and the current month within 10 days of the last day of grace period. So it comes out to be... $402 per month for lot rent, and $25 per month for late fees anything paid after the 5th of the month. So since I hadn't paid for December yet, that was $427, and then for January's lot rent because it wasn't paid by the 5th will be another $427.00

I did talk to the park owner and he said I could pay it in chunks for this month only. So I did pay them $627 so far, and then will pay the next 200 probably next week. The Manager told me I only owed $200 more, even though I think I actually owe $227, but I'll take the lower number if I can.

When I got the mail tonight there was a check from Humana (my insurance company~medicare replacement plan) reimbursing me for a bunch of the Rx I paid copays on over the last year, so that was for $408.00 works for me!! I may call the insurance company before cashing it to verify that I am not supposed to be sending this on to someone else like an ambulance bill or something, but we could really use this money right now. Maybe we can pay up on a few bills now, then hopefully we can be on time with our rent starting next month and only have to pay the actual $402 in lot rent without having to pay the late fees anymore.

I really want to get a Wii too, but I think bills might have to come first although I really do need to get in shape, so we will see!! Have to do a little more research on the whole subject.

Talk soon!

Ok, I was worried there. I'm still concerned because all this adds stress, but you seem to have a plan going. You'll be ok. I'm glad the owner is willing to work with you. Take care,To: asthma Sent: Thu, January 7, 2010 8:29:22 PMSubject: Re: Home Now...

Do you not pay rent by direct debit? I set this up with the estate agent when I moved into my flat, so I don't have to think about it. It's so much easier.

Remembers that she has to pay her council tax for this month, which is NOT direct debit. Yet.
