Everyone,

When I lived in Florida, getting a dietitian’s foot in the door was a breeze

due to a state law there called “The Sunshine Law.” Since this is an area

that is less regulated right now, I would like to have a place to network

with other professionals who work in the assisted living area Therefore, I

have created a group on Yahoo. Thought this would be better than cluttering

up the DPG’s listserv. Besides this group is not regulated by the ADA so

that we can discuss anything there – no limits. Because we don’t want just

anyone there, it will be closed membership. If anyone wants to join, just

go to the home page, follow the directions in #2.

1) Here're the details on DieteticsAssistedLivingFacilities:

Group home page:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DieteticsAssistedLivingFacilities

Group email address: DieteticsAssistedLivingFacilities

2) Simply drop by the Group home page:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DieteticsAssistedLivingFacilities

now. Once you are there, click on the “Blue” button entitled “join now”

and just follow the steps to join. To keep the online conversation moving,

be sure to invite other professionals.

Files and photos can also be added in the section on the group.

Thanks,

Carol
