Guest guest
I'm not going anywhere but I sure wish my house was clean and my laundry was done!! Where are you going Norah? Margaret Leaving for mini vacation Hi Everyone, Well, it's about that time. Bags are packed, dog has been taken to the vet for boarding, arrangements for someone to come in and feed, water, and change the litter for the cats, house is clean, laundry is done, is off to the airport to pick up his mom, wheelchair is in the truck, and thanks again to everyone here for making me see there is nothing to be embarrassed about by using the wheelchair. In fact, my mother-in-law said that would be great... maybe I could even rent it to her while on the trip when I felt I needed to walk a bit and stretch my limbs. And I was so nervous that she'd be judgmental about it.. WHEW!!! I think it was my old fear that in the beginning of her resentment about and I being together because of our major age differences. How silly of me to allow past fears and issues to creep back into my brain that were already dealt with. I believe that's called being human :-) You guys here on the list do such wonders for me. Thanks again. Hugs to everyone, and I'll pop in now and then from the hotel... we're taking the laptop with us and the hotel has high speed internet.. lol... just can't get away from the computer.. lol. Wish us a safe trip and see you all soon. loving hugs, Norah 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
We're driving to Montreal in the morning, and we'll do the typical tourist tour and and his mom have never seen it. I was 13 years old when I lived there for a year and have been back many a summer to visit. Then on Sunday morning we drive to the Canadian Capitol and visit Ottawa... again.. this is not a new place for me.. I worked there for 6 months on a contract. Then we drive home on Monday. Just spoke with and he's picked up his mom safe and sound. I'm exhausted, excited and I forgot to eat lunch... so I think I'm hungry too. We'll be going out for dinner as my kitchen is clean and I ain't cookin'. :-) Off I go for a final round of inspection of the house... lol Hugs everyone, Norah Re: Leaving for mini vacation I'm not going anywhere but I sure wish my house was clean and my laundry was done!! Guest guest
Norah, I hope you have a terrific time. I know the wheelchair will make it so much easier for you. I pray that time with your husband and his Mom and a change of scenery will do you a world of good. :-) You'll have to fill us in when you get back and are up to it. hugs, Sundra Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall -- Re: Leaving for mini vacation Hope you have a great trip Norah!! --- Norah Bleazard wrote: --------------------------------- Hi Everyone, Well, it's about that time.
