Ooops Camilla, and I have been together since 1997 and have never had

an argument, fight, or cross word. I know it's a little unusual and even my

therapist says that we seem to be an exception a few rules. I personally

believe that it's because we had to fight so hard, give up so much, cost a

fortune, and wait so long to be together. And now that we're finally

together, each moment is precious and dear. I've snapped when I've been in

a lot of pain and quickly catch myself and apologize for it. I have too

much respect for to want to see him hurt or angry. I don't want that

visual because it would hurt me too much. I am too empathic with and

can feel when he's around and hurting and I don't like the way that feels.

My first marriage was hell on earth. It was filled with psychological

abuse, loud arguments, fighting beyond belief, and basically 10 years of

pure hell. He cheated on me, played mind games, stole my self-esteem, and

made me feel like I didn't deserve to breathe the same air as him. I'm

's first love, so he doesn't have the past experience to compare to as

I do. Fighting just brings back too many bad memories. He's such a gentle

soul and could never hurt a soul. I can't imagine a day without him. I

love him unconditionally and would give up anything to ensure his happiness.

is one of those that were labeled " gifted " as a child and that brings

on a whole different set of emotional problems with it.

Ok.. I'm yakking too much here... I have to go and help hubby with the

housework. His mom will be here Wednesday night and I want the place to

look clean and nice.

hugs,

Norah

Re: Sherry

Sherry.....I have another thought......I never believe people who tell me

that they have been married umpteen years and have NEVER had a cross word

or fight. Baloney!!!! Trying to remove all the stress from your life is

baloney, too. That friend is way off the track. Cam

Oh I " m planning on it. Been thinking about getting my butt in gear about

this more and more each day. I think the story is going to have to end up

being a trilogy as there is just too much to tell.for one book...

super hugs,

Norah

Re: Norah

MY GOSH!!!!! WHAT A FABULOUS STORY!!!!! Your mother is amazing and

wonderful. Wow, you should write that down as a memoir of her. Or let

her dictate into a machine and then you write it. Your kids and grandkids

should know of her courage.

Well Cam, you have a reason to be proud if your kids both have excellent

eating habits now. Even if you didn't influence their current choices, you

did set healthy guidelines when they were growing up.

Go girl!!!!!!!! I always told my family that I was not a short order cook

and if they wanted one of those they could go to Mc's. I did tell

them that they could not fix junk for themselves....they had to eat healthy.

Consequently, both my kids have very good eating habits....no sugar,

white flour, etc. I can't take credit for that....they do it for health

reasons, but I feel good that they are doing it at all. Love, Cam

Preparation (a)

No a,

That was very helpful. Thanks a bunch. I'm trying to get a handle on

this

problem now. I've started just telling the kids if you don't like what we

are having you can eat a sandwich. I'm not making three different meals

when I sometimes can't even make one.
