, I am not a doctor so I truly dont know. Could it possibly be that your

brain stem had so much tension on it, not enough to stretch it down far enough

for them to spot the chiari, but tension, that when the cord was released the

stem was sort of stretched out and not strong enough to hold it? I dont know,

just taking a shot in the dark. I'm sorry for the Chiari but I am glad that you

got the TC released, it has its own set of problems.   Blessings,

yes there has to b a connection to tc srg & upper symptoms. ur brain stem

connects to ur spinal cord. i also hve chiari so i hve many symptoms up , dowm &

everywhere.what i need to know(cant sit @ the coputer long engh @ resrch) is why

AFTERtc srgy did a normal brain stm become bent ,lile a backwards " c " ,???? could

it b that srgy wasnt needed , now there is too much slack or what ,????
