Guest guest
Helen,I didn’t mention, but I am on oral compounded progesterone, as I have the scripts filled at a compounding pharmacy…You had mentioned crème..so I wanted to clarify what I was having good results with. None of my bio-identicals are crèmes…My estrogen is sublingual, a very low dose daily…which is not oral---it is getting absorbed through the tiny vessels under the tongue…My blood work revealed I could use some estrogen…I had fairly good level , but it was obvious by my levels that I needed a bit more…From: Texas_Thyroid_Groups [mailto:Texas_Thyroid_Groups ] On Behalf Of HelenSent: Tuesday, July 26, 2011 7:24 PMTo: Texas_Thyroid_Groups Subject: Re: I know several people on this board say he's fantastic. Don't know if my proble , did Spurlock prescribe your biodentical hormones as well? Did he start you at a low dose? Reason I'm asking is I think I was overdosed on my progesterone. I know most doctors say it has a calming effect, but I and a lot of other women will tell you low is probably better. The cream version, according to my research, stores in the fat. If you get overdosed, it takes a long time to get it out of your system, meanwhile, you can be very miserable. There are a couple of Yahoo groups that deal with overdosing of hormones. The stories aren't pretty. I've learned the hard way that even thought I was taught to trust drs, that they know best, is not always the case. Don't know if my problems are related to adrenals, thyroid or bio identical hormone overdosing (specifically progesterone) - he does it all from what I've heard. Guess I'm just paranoid as I've been to so many bad doctors in the past year.> > > > Any comments, good, bad or indifferent would be most welcomed. > > > > Thanks!> > Helen> >>
