Guest guest
The procedure went well today. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I am having some conjestion and other "normal" after effects. The doctor did see evidence of bronchomalacia. So I have 3 definitive diagnoses - moderate (possibly steroid dependent) asthma, severe vcd, and bronchomalacia. At this point I don't what kind of treatment or plan of care there will be on the bronchomalacia. However, I don't know that there is much to be done according to my research. I believe I am going to need to acquire a bi-pap machine like they use at the hospital. I do know that right now the bronchomalacia is not severe enough to consider stints. This is a degenerative disease process, but I do expect to be able to manage it mostly from home with the proper tools. I'll update you all more after I see Dr. Pacheco next Thursday.
