All parents in HISD should attend this!Please forward this far and wide.C singleton Where there is great love, there are always miracles.Willa Cather Attend December 8 Focus Group to Improve Special Education ServicesHarvard University professor to lead evaluation of HISD programsNovember 18, 2010 To better gauge the effectiveness of its Special Education services, HISD has asked Dr. Tom Hehir, the director of the School Leadership Program at Harvard University, to conduct an evaluation of its programs.As a part of that evaluation, the district is seeking feedback from parents and community members at a focus group scheduled for Wednesday, December 8, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Hattie Mae White Educational Support Center (4400 West 18th Street, 77092).This event will be led by Dr. Hehir. Interested parties are asked to RSVP by sending an e-mail to March.
