Including Kids has confirmed the presenters for the December 4th Saturday Support Services! The following organizations will be represented and information will be shared about services. Don't miss this FREE opportunity to hear about the resources available to your family in our community!

Clinic for Autism: Dr. Nomita Pothuluri- A local clinic providing diagnosis and treatment for children with autism based on the DAN! principles.

YMCA- A representative from the local YMCA will provide information on services as well as answer questions about how your family can be supported. The local YMCA has taken an active interest in providing opportunities for inclusion in camps and after school programs so that your family can utilize their wonderful services and facility.

Boyd Counseling Center- A representative will speak on the importance of their services and what can be accomplished in sessions by children with autism. They will also speak about the importance of parent and sibling counseling.

Family to Family Network-The mission of Family to Family Network is to help families of children with disabilities by providing information, training, referral, and support. A representative will speak about how to access services and what they feel is important for families to look for.

The Village Learning and Achievement Center- The village provides services for people over the age of 14 who have special needs. They provide DayHab, residential, supportive employment, and advocacy. A representative will provide information on waitlists and how to get your child on them before its too late. Some waitlists can be years long and you don't want to wait until the service is needed to get the process started. The representative will help set your family on the right path or answer questions about the next step.

Spaces are still available! Please see attached flyer for more detail on the workshop and the other services provided that day, including childcare and sibling support. We encourage you to spread the word about this workshop to anyone that might benefit from learning about the services available in our community. We look forward to seeing you on the 4th!
