Guest guest
Gotta love this line: " It doesn't cause health effects, but it may be an irritant, " damn! Well, at least they are consistent - they don't recognize anything giving the rest of us trouble, so it's good they deny the ill health effects on their own staff... anyone know a worker in these buildings? We may have some sympathetic staff to communicate with. If we could just get a location directory to communicate with the folks who are having adverse reactions to these 'irritants'... ~Haley Darlene <darlenesb2000@...> wrote: http://www.imakenews.com/pureaircontrols/e_article000782132.cfm?x=b9hlHlg,b6QPyn\ 5T#a782132 --------------------------------- Bored stiff? Guest guest
We did have someone that worked at the CDC and got sick there. But they choice not to share any information with anyone, even though they claimed that the information that they had would blow this whole issue wide open. At the same time could save many lives across the country. They felt that their case was more important than others and choice to leave the group instead of helping. Guest guest
So instead of not only helping the people that worked there, and helping so many others across the states at the same time....they didn't care...now this pisses me off....just like the slumlords out there....they don't care..... Guest guest
Well, they can help us all if they get to court and don't settle and keep the info confidential... Let's hope they're helping us in ways we just don't know about yet... ~Haley tigerpaw2c <tigerpaw2c@...> wrote: We did have someone that worked at the CDC and got sick there. Guest guest
Haley, thanks for this... had a good laugh... it's crazy how they consistently deny how sick mold can make us and now their own employees are sick with this so-called " irritant " .... Guest guest
The truth is, employees of organizations like the CDC are not in any position to make any kinds of statements or rules on mold, or toxics or rulemaking of any kind now, because under a new policy any statements, even just simply on a mailing list, are seen as having a potential economic impact so they need to be passed through an approval process by a political appointee first. Career employees and scientists in federal agencies are very frustrated over this, but there is nothing they can do. So don't blame them, they are just trying to keep their jobs. That includes employees at CDC, EPA, etc. They are just trying to make it to retirement. So I don't find the problems at CDCs offices something to laugh about, I just think that the people who work in those offices are just like us, pawns in a game played with our lives. >Haley, thanks for this... had a good laugh... it's crazy how they consistently deny how sick mold can make us and now their own employees are sick with this so-called " irritant " .... Guest guest
Dana, your welcome. When I saw this link in my email and then read the story, I thought it would be nice to share with the group. Yes Haley, I did love that line. What does this tell us, huh.....If the CDC doesn't care about it's own people..bottom line in my opinion, why would they care about us and our illnesses.
