Guest guest
My first question would be, Does she put other things in her mouth? If she doesn't have the motor skills to put things in her mouth yet, that may be where your problem lies. Does she get occupational therapy? They might could help you with suggestions there. If she does put other things in her mouth, is she just refusing to feed herself? Either way, I am sure everyone here will have a lot of good suggestions on how to help! She is almost 18 months. What worked for you? Thanks. Recent Activity 5 New Members Visit Your Group
Guest guest
Thank you for the response. She does occasionally put toys in her mouth but never food nor does she want to hold a cup or bottle. At what age did your child begin self-feeding? Also, she is not walking or talking. She has started going up the stairs and will stand but does not know how to get down from a standing position. Again, interested in knowing if this is " normal " ? Thanks for your help. Grandma > > Thank you for the welcome. I do have concerns that I hope you can help > with.
