If you start right now, and get into the swing, you'll feel so good, you won't want to binge during the holidays. But Heller's is not IMO a good program for diabetics. Their 'reward' system will play havoc with your bg's. Best to maintain an even keel, test, test, test, so you know which foods do what to your bg's, and, ultimately, save your life.
