Guest guest
Either go to the ER or see your GP or PCP right away. I had an infection along my incision due to the sutures being inflamed and infected. My nsg started me on a strong dosage of Keflex (anti-biotic) for three weeks and said to check in with my regular doctor. I went to see my nsg's nurse once a week for those three weeks. I caught staff in the hospital and later ended up with a serious staff infection in my right calf and foot and got cellulitis. So -- infections post surgery ARE NOTHING TO MESS AROUND WITH. Go right away. If you can't get in to see your Nsg or PCP ask to see a nurse, PA or Nurse Practionner if they have one in either office. If the wound is truly terrible and in bad shape -- they may refer you to a wound care doctor to treat the infection more pro-actively. Good luck. I'm sorry to hear you on top of your recovery have to go through this. Stay strong. -- Dileas, Dochas, Agus Gra, ~ With Faith, Hope & Love ~ _________________________________ " Stability and peace in our land will not come from the barrel of a gun, because peace without justice is an impossibility.
