Guest guest
I am a patient of Dr. Shoemaker's and have stayed in the Holiday Inn. It is more expensive during the spring and summer months but they do offer a patient discount. However you might be able to get a better discount with AAA or another. I never had any health problems while staying there. Across the street is a Friendly's, a TGIF, Mc's and a WalMart. Office is only a 5 minute drive or less. Sue My first appointment with Shoemaker was 1 1/2 hours. There is a Holiday Inn within walking distance from his office (actually walking distance for someone who is not sick - I couldn't walk it). I think the hotel is about $80 a night. I had a room booked at another hotel but had to leave after 2.5 minutes in the room because of the mold and the smell. > > you have to stay in MD while Shoemaker runs tests. and if theres > someplace cheap to stay. tring to get a ruff idea of costs ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
One day, you may be rushed, two to be comfortable, depending on the time of your appt and when you can get the flight out. > > you have to stay in MD while Shoemaker runs tests. and if theres > someplace cheap to stay. tring to get a ruff idea of costs. >

Guest guest
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this. Can't find it if they did. So, I might be repeating. There is a very clean hotel there. Many have stayed there w/out a problem. Can't remember the name, but his office can tell you. I believe there was only one suggestion when we went, that his office suggested. I think there was a Wal-Mart across the street, in a shopping plaza. It's not a huge place. The hotel was on the corner. We stayed in the handicapped room. Far end of hotel, away from the pool. Very clean, non-smoking. But, everyone's tolerance is different. We were there 2 days. Guest guest
I didn't recall the one I was talking about being a Holiday Inn. Must have been though, it was about 10 minutes out. I missed the TGIFridays. hehehe Remember Friendly's though. Wow, good thing there is a bunch of us. My mind must not have been working that day either, or I need glasses.
