Guest guest
Tommie, I appreciated your nice long post and that is about the only way I am going to get to know each one. Debbie, thank you for writing about your back surgery. It is nice to hear a success story. I have fusion, plates and screws and not sure what else. Spinal stenosis, arthritis, bone spurs. Trying to think of what is all in my back. I had one good day but otherwise they have been more on the painful side. I am not sure how this group works yet. I had it on digest but just now put it on individual posts to see if I can get to know everyone eventually. We have webtv so not sure if this is why we are getting repeated messages over and over and over again. Maybe that will stop with the change. As you can see I need to learn a lot about the computer even if it is on TV. I feel overwhelmed with so many members so it might take me awhile. Joe did get into the Dr. on Monday and they x-rayed his hip. Thankfully it was all right but his back was out. The Orthopedic Dr. did not see a problem with him having the chiropractor that he has had for twenty years when he needed him do his therapy. He has been in discomfort but he is taking it easy and hopefully it won't last too long. We have Dutch relatives coming in October for a wedding and we just found them in 2002 on the internet. Actually Joe's cousin did most of the searching. We now have pictures of the town that Joe's Dad was born in and lots of history. They want to see some more of our state then they will travel to Denver and stay with this cousin for a week. We are looking forward to their visit and they are bringing along another relative that we had not met. Douwe is 60 and it is amazing how much he looks like Joe's Dad did. He does not speak English. His wife Petra does so we will do fine. I hope to be able to get around fairly well while they are here. We have a few places to take them and of course out to dinner. I will write more later.
