Guest guest
[Jaspe] At the very beginning THEWORK sounds awfully radical. I remember once I was shocked because I heard in a tape the following: " Mothers should not sexualize their children. Is that true? No. They do, that's reality. They should do it. How do I know? Because they do. Haven't you noticed? " ----->What did she mean by " sexualize " ? Incest? Or " train " them to be sexual beings? I'm not clear on this. At the beginning I couldn't believe it. Then I realized how it is understood in context. And I realized that this woman was talking about embracing all reality. All-and-every-piece of it. All reality. ----->And that includes Everything that arises: fear, love, grief, lust, sadness, joy, repulsion. If one responds with disgust when hearing of an act of violence, sadism, incest....that response is also part of Everything is it not? Is it a mistake when that .... sensation....arises? Is any response a mistake? Is being confused a mistake, a flaw, an error? Are mistakes possible? It was amazing: suddenly there was no part of life that couldn't be accepted. Sounds strange, but I felt relieved, it was as if everything and everybody was welcome in the scenario of life. ----->And the programming here prefers some things to others: puppies and sunsets, births and weddings, over slaughterhouses and tsunamis, over rapes, incest, and murder. It seems most of the programming in the world prefers the " nice " things as opposed to the vicious and angry things. It was as if God/Reality had the complete script of life and we only had chapters of it. ----->We don't have it. We are it. [Andy] ....There is no need once it is seen that there is no one to help. ;-) [Jaspe] No one to help. No one helping...no help needed jajajajajajajja I had always thought I needed some correction, that I had to be " repaired " of my defects, ignorance, or whatever...I just don't feel that now. I know I'm not " perfect " but it's fine what it is today. -----> " You are perfect just as you are, but that doesn't mean there is no room for improvement. " (Mel Weitsman, zen teacher; this is a paraphrase of an original statement made by zen master Suzuki Roshi)

What do you know mothers do? Anything you heard of or can imagine mothers to be capable of, is what should be. >> At the beginning I couldn't believe it. And when I got it: " this one is a mistake " - and put it into inquiry. Because I don't " know " the answer until I honestly inquired. >> It was amazing: suddenly there was no part of life that couldn't be >> accepted. That's how I see that love is the inner nature: I feel it when I stop being busy. > ----->And the programming here prefers some things to others: puppies > and sunsets, births and weddings, over slaughterhouses and tsunamis, > over rapes, incest, and murder. You wouldn't have a reference to " nice " , " vicious " and " angry " and wouldn't even see the opposition if you didn't have the " programming " . It's thoughts we have been told, and we just believed them. Because the people who taught us the thoughts believed them. >>> [Andy] >>> ...There is no need once it is seen that there is no one to help. >>> ;-) >> [Jaspe] >> No one to help. I'd say " You are perfect just as you are, and that doesn't mean there is no room for 'improvement' " . And the 'improvement' is the change that takes place every moment. Love, " Every picture adds to the general effect. People don't see, sorry, any one picture, they just see the effect caused by a lot of them moving past very quickly.
