My memory is not good but it was something along those lines, as I understood it and I am alarmed.>> ** I think you may mean the thread titled " Oxytocin and SSRIs " . Have you found yourself less able to connect with emotional feelings of love? How about others here? Everyone jump in here and tell us your experience. Guest guest
> Have you found yourself less able to connect with emotional feelings of love? When I was on zoloft I found that I really didn't care about much of anything, including love. Oh, I loved my children but could have cared less if anyone loved me. At the time, it seemed good that nothing really mattered....now, it seems like a nightmare that I could have EVER had such a flat affect. What a waste of years, eight years gone......... Guest guest
Trisha Please tell me a little more about " government to create programmable killers " the C.I.A and " people without any human connection " I would be interested to learn more about your take on this issue, remember I'm Irish so I don't know over much about C.I.A lore. As to the SSRI's , I often wonder was there an intent to creat a group of people to work the wheels of the economy. Guest guest
If you take the bee hive analagy ........like drones as opposed to breeders and Queens? You don't really want to get me started on this topic. I could write a book! LOL Our prison population is our slave society, much as IG Farben, Siemans, Krupp, etc. used concentration camp victims as their work force. We are moving toward a cashless society. Everyone is in debt to their eyeballs, foreclosures are up 50% in the last two years in my area. Everyone lives on plastic. When I talked to the loan officer who funded my refi to save ME from foreclosusre, she told me the average person only has 10% equity in their home because they've been lured into spending more than they make, so they take out second mortgages, refi and take out more equity, until they have nothing left. I got my loan because even after borrowing a huge chunk of money to pay the note, I still had more than 50% equity in my home. The local pharmacist in my town said half the population of my area is taking AT LEAST one psychiatric drug -- usually an SSRI and a benzos. Where can we be headed with a scenario like this? I don't know, but it ain't good. It frankly scares me to death how many people are on these drugs. With what I know about them, I am afraid of people who take them because I know what they do to your mind. Guest guest
I loved my children but could have cared less if anyone loved me I have similar feelings. I never felt this way before taking Paxil. it's as though my emotional switch has been flipped. Imagine a whole society feeling that way. No wonder mothers are killing their children. Guest guest
Dear , My eating is low wheat or no wheat if i can avoid it, low carb generally with plenty of fresh organic veg. and fruit and protein 2 or three (if I can manage it) times a day, regular eating, every 3/4 hours. Why is it do you think that most homoeopaths do not consider Aconite as a constitutional remedy? My life has been dominated by FEAR and that is why it was chosen by a homoeopath as my constitutional. It was mistakenly thought to be both Phosphorous and Nat Mur in the past. After the AAA remedy which helped a bit, I took Aconite 1m single dose and that sorted me out bigtime. It took me two weeks to get over the release of metabolites into my system and I guess having Hep C might mean it takes longer to detoxify as my liver is compromised somewhat. Mo I do think it makes sense to detoxify as I go along and not wait until such time as I am off the SSRI. I have been taking somewthing called Livertrit (an ayurvedic) and this has been beneficial because I suffer from general toxicity because of my liver problems. Not taking it at the moment because I dont have the money to pay for it but it is good stuff.
Guest guest
I notice people talking about PN and I do not know what it is, I am beginning to wonder now that I have figured out the name, if i dont have it also. My fingers and feet have been numb for the last few weeks. Is that it? Or is that a side effect of taking the drug? Or both? would know more specifically what all the symptoms of PN (peripheral neuropathy) are. For me, my hands feel raw, sore, prickly, as though they have splinters in them, burn, worms crawling, buzzing, etc. If you only have numbness, consider yourself very lucky! Guest guest
Dear Mo, You said: <<Thanks for all advice and support re metabolites. At least now I am clear in my mind abut how this works though I still have the issue about losing weight. I will try two things. 1. Try losing a very small amount of weight per week, say half a pound and 2. consult with a homoeopath for a remedy that will stop symptoms in their tracks hopefully once they begin. , you have mentiond Aconite which is my own constitution remedy, do you see it having a place in my proposed design>> ** What type of food are you planning on eating? This can make a big difference in your blood sugar. As far as Aconite goes, if indeed it is your constitutional remedy (most homeopaths do not see Aconite as a constitutional) you should be taking it. The question here is the potency and dosing schedule. What have you done with this in the past? You may find that magnesium takes away the numbness you mentioned. Magnesium is depleted by all these types of drugs so you should be taking it anyway. I talk about magnesium types in the FILES section. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Withdrawal_and_Recovery/files/ Regards,

Guest guest
<<The question is this? Would 200 have been the better option? And if yes, is a single dose sufficient? What did not help at all in this situation is that I had a very bad night's sleep before I went because of anxiety about the event and therefore felt very vulnerable on the day.>> ** Aconite is not the appropriate remedy for this, Mo. Guest guest
Looking for info for another article I'm writing: What nutrition " facts " have gone by the wayside after further research or just didn't end up being as " important " as originally believed? For instance, fads like oatbran or the newer research that sort of debunks the garlic and cholesterol or lycopene and prostate cancer relationship. Or the about face about margarine and butter (referring really to the recommendations of ten years ago when we would always recommend margarine over butter....before the trans fat issue came up). How do you decide what to recommend to patients? If you read something in the newspaper or lay publication touting some super food like blueberries, do you read the original research before recommending? What do you think of the idea of " super foods " ? There seem to be so many articles in women's magazines about them recommending that everyone should be eating flax and blueberries, for instance. Years ago it was broccoli. BTW.....I never quote anyone without their permission so feel free to write what you want. If I decide to use the information, I'll ask you if you want to be quoted in the article. Thanks in advance for your help!
