Guest guest
I took the kids to Sea World for the first time this summer, and I have to say that except for the waterpark (which it will still be too cold for by March) and the Cirque de Sol show, I was very unimpressed for the price. The Penguin exhibit was not as good as Moody Gardens, and the aquarium with fish was not as good as the exhibit at the Houston Zoo or Moody Gardens or even the Aquarium restaurant in downtown Houston or the one in Kemah. Petting the mammals is great, but you have to smell fish to do it—and if your kiddo has sensory issues. . . . . . .Not to mention these kinds of parks support the exploitation of dolphins (which are hunted in Japan --the ones that don’t get selected to be sold to water parks wind up being killed by the hundreds) Unless your son is REALLY into mammals and a couple of smaller rollercoasters, I would personally opt for something else. Have you considered ’s Wonderland www.morganswonderland.com? Hope this helps, S. The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them.
