But I'm sure that some of the 1,5's, or others that knows the 'definition' will answer your question when they read your mail. Guest guest Posted November 28, 1999 Report Share Posted November 28, 1999 , A long time ago I read that a 1.5 diabetic was a black in the late teens to mid 20's who mimiced a type I, but would never get ketones (even with high blood sugar levels because they were really a Type II.
