Kay, it's so simple! I use purified water (so there are no chlorine fumes) and real sea salt (Celtic brand.) I don't even measure - I just dump in a good amount of salt into some water and bring to a boil. I set the pot down in front of my daughter, and she puts her nose into the steam for about 20 minutes. It works great for her! It has worked better than Albuterol to stop an attack, and she's currently doing it several times per day just because she's not doing great overall
