Guest guest
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and you may already know this, but just in case….Unless the school is asking for help in finding a way to cope and/or move the other child out of the district, you will not accomplish very much by sending them info. The only way you can have any input in the matter is from a safety stand point for your child only. I know that stinks, but that’s how the law is right now. I found something in IDEA that stated you can get seek a 45 day temporary placement for a student like this and then maybe get them out permanently?? I copied and pasted that part of IDEA and sent it to an administrator. It looks like TEA would have to get involved because there was reference to a hearing officer.Anyone know anything about this? This kid is DANGEROUS!!!
Guest guest
The reason I sent it to them is because I don't think they KNOW there is anything they can do. I would think there has got to be a way to get such a dangerous person OUT of there - I didn't realize HOW dangerous he was until another mother told me - good grief, what if he did get out of that room?? > > Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and you may already know this, but just > in case.. > > Unless the school is asking for help in finding a way to cope and/or move > the other child out of the district, you will not accomplish very much by > sending them info.
