preventive vs other visit

Hi all,seeing as we are going to keep getting requests  to bil as preventive  vs acute care etc etcwhat constitutes a purely preventive health care visit?

I doubt I have ever done a purely preventive health visit. This is another wedge between patient and physicain where we will get request ( already had one patient who was miffed that he was billed wrong after he came in asking for a FULL physical ekg included - I did not do the ekg , turns out he had another physical in the 12 months prior) and now he was furious it  became his responsibility)
