I'd agree with that , if on the contrary of telling girls this, they didn't also give them the message that staying home with kids was lazy. BTW, my job is Fire protection, and safety, so when I watched the WTC mayhem I just wanted to get on the phone and check on everything out here to make sure safety was top priority. Not being allowed to do that has been devastating, I want to protect my family, my company, the country, the world! But knowing my family needs and relies on me, even now is of some consolation. As I wait for those phone calls that tell me when my next interview is, I spend my days exercising by biking and weightlifting, and helping my girls with their endless homework. Since I never got to do that before, this is kinda uplifting and useful. Of course, it helps to have a very supportive wife!
