When it comes to working or not working as a mom, it holds true:

You're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't.

Yup, we're all damned.

So we might as well just make the choice that's best for us, and to

hell with what others think!

Well, I'm trying to stay out of the hole...thanks....

Sweetness? Light? Nope....And please, don't get me wrong...I'm sure there

are guys there that are helpful and are getting help...so I'm no knocking it

down....

First...you can't cuss...now, I don't need to cuss...but for me it

helps...it's so much easier than trying to be intellectual AND angry....

The list is about treatment, ideas for treatment...and cures...

And these are very helpful....but Terry and I can read....though Terry does

most of it...I listen to her evals of what she read a lot of the time....

But, as stated before so often...this place is the only place like this...

Once again, thank you Jacquie...there's no place like home...there's no place

like home.

I'd agree with that , if on the contrary of telling girls

this, they didn't also give them the message that staying home with

kids was lazy.

You have captured the essence of every guy's feeling that

I can think of. I don't know what more could be added.

I too am 43 and feel much the same. Especially losing

my job ripped everything masculine from me. BTW, my

job is Fire protection, and safety, so when I watched the

WTC mayhem I just wanted to get on the phone and

check on everything out here to make sure safety was

top priority. Not being allowed to do that has been

devastating, I want to protect my family, my company,

the country, the world!

But knowing my family needs and relies on me, even now

is of some consolation. As I wait for those phone calls

that tell me when my next interview is, I spend my days

exercising by biking and weightlifting, and helping my

girls with their endless homework. Since I never got to do

that before, this is kinda uplifting and useful.

Of course, it helps to have a very supportive wife!

Thanks for telling it like it is, Ron.
