Kathy -

3 weeks till you can drive, and when I asked about rollerblading, Dr. L said 6

weeks. Hope that helps. Sorry so short, we went out of town for the weekend

and I think I got ahold of some bad shrimp, I am home sick as a dog this

afternoon, been up most of the night feeling awful. Best of luck to you -

question on recovery

Hi everyone,

How long after surgery are we able to drive? How long after surgery are we

Thanks for answering my many questions again. :-)

Kathy, Dr. L. says three weeks for driving, and whatever you can

handle as far as exercise. Your body will tell you. I was as good

as new two weeks post surgery, except around my incision is still

numb, which I'm finding common amongst those of us who have already

had the surgery. Also, intercourse was limited to the missionary

position, as it hurt in other positions for a while. I'm not sure

how long that took, but everything is back to normal now - my TR was

7/9/01. Hope that helps. Jackie
